We keep running! The NeoGiANT H2020 consortium in which we proudly participate has released its third press release. Here, we summarise the activity in the third year of work towards phasing-out antibiotic usage in animal production by using natural, sustainably obtained, grape marc extracts. These polyphenol-rich extracts have demonstrated excellent antimicrobial properties and potential applications in feeding, health, and reproduction.
As coordinators of the work package on semen diluent formulations and members of the application to the artificial insemination industry, Bianor Biotech is making progress testing and adapting them for better suiting the needs of different species.
